In this TWO hour workshop, we will explore some of the basic postures, breathing and meditation techniques that make up the practice of Hatha yoga.

Students will leave with a basic understanding of proper alignment and technique, and will leave feeling better prepared to attend hatha classes. 

Yoga is appropriate for just about anyone. You don't need to be flexible or be able to quiet the mind. You simply need the desire to show up and do your best. This workshop is perfect for people new to the practice of yoga or those looking to deepen in their understanding of the fundamentals*.

*Please note, this workshop will require movement from the ground to standing and moments on the knees. We recommend this for anyone who is interest in traditional hatha classes that move at a steady pace. Feel free to reach out if you're unsure if this is an appropriate workshop for you.
