Meet Dr. Lauren Gastall!

Dr. Lauren is a pelvic health physical therapist, Pilates instructor, and Certified Health Coach. She attained her clinical doctorate at Quinnipiac University in 2015 then spent many years working as a traveling physical therapist. She recently moved to San Luis Obispo and has started practicing at Dr. Megan Mullin Physical Therapy. Lauren is also a telemedicine provider on Maven Clinic, the largest women’s and family telemedicine network. She specializes in pelvic floor therapy and is especially passionate about working with birthing people. Lauren is dedicated to helping her clients feel their best. When she’s not working, she enjoys traveling, backpacking, and experimenting in the kitchen.

A Special Women's Health Offering with guest facilitator Dr. Lauren Gastall PT, DPT

Sunday, October 29th from 1:00-3:00 PM

This workshop is designed to teach women about the anatomy and function of their pelvic floor muscles in a supportive and comfortable environment. The pelvic floor makes up an integral part of the core system and helps to control bowel, bladder, and sexual function. In this session we will practice how to relax and lengthen these muscles as well as contract and strengthen them. With these techniques we can optimize function and better access pleasure, power, and peace.

This workshop is for women...

  • with signs of increased pelvic floor activity or tension like frequent urination, pelvic pain, a sense of urgency with bladder filling, constipation, and/or painful bowel movements.

  • with experiences signs of pelvic floor weakness like leakage that they cannot control.

  • who carry anxiety or tension in their pelvic floor, pelvis, or hips.

  • who has given birth or is considering giving birth.

  • who want to prioritize pelvic health in a preventative way.

  • who want a deeper level of education and instruction from a pelvic physical therapist about: pelvic floor health and sexual wellness.

Sunday, October 29th from 1-3 PM

Cost is $35 with members receiving 10% off

Please bring a mat and wear comfortable clothing. This will be an interactive workshop that involves stretches and movements for pelvic health. You are guaranteed to leave this workshop with greater mind-body awareness and a better understanding of the power of your pelvic floor.
