Rachel Ventura

Hello my name is Rachel Ventura.

Three words to describe me are easy-going, patient, warm.

When I'm not teaching yoga I love to be active, ride my horse, read, go to concerts, road trip, spending tons of time with family and friends... it's not often that I'm not doing something!

My ideal morning is a productive one! Get up EARLY and a good work out in, take a cold dip in the ocean with friends and warm up with some coffee, oatmeal and a lot of sunshine.

I dream of owning a recording studio out in the middle of nowhere (where I also teach yoga), so people can retreat and get creative and; guaranteeing to always be surrounded by the things I love most!

I am grateful for my overly supportive and massive crew of family and friends. I am grateful for yoga and the confidence, strong foundation and peace its given me. I am grateful for the opportunity to learn everyday.

Yoga has taught me how to find balance between effort and ease. But, most importantly, how to remain present and dedicated to the moment so I can consistently show up as the person I want to be for myself and for others.

I love to teach classes that work up a little bit of sweat while teaching the benefits of the poses for the mind and body.

Three words to describe my teaching style are intentional, supportive and steady.

As a teacher, I hope to empower my students and hope they feel strong and supported so they can carry themselves with confidence off of the mat.

Music you might hear in my class will be either nice and slow and or have a little bit of a beat, no words, some words, lots of words, pretty much anything that keeps the body moving and the mind settled.

My yoga experience started at Harmony House back in 2015, I was instantly hooked. I completed Kelly's 200 Hr. teacher training at the Harmony House and am forever grateful to her and this place for the opportunity and lessons its offered me.

I am excited to be a part of the Harmony House community because it's so positive and inclusive. It's such a safe haven for people to come and invest time connecting with themselves and other sweet humans.
